Worried About Rain after we
spray? We use a wetting agent that will encapsulate
the chemicals so they won't wash away. This
allows chemical retention for long lasting results and reduced
wasteful evaporation and harmful runoff. Pearce Power
Spraying uses the latest chemical technology to provide you with a
green lawn while maintaining a healthy environment.
Florida is a buggy state!
There are lots of creepy pests and we can help you to combat them
on your lawn, shrubs and plants. We offer plant, shrub and
tree insect spraying and fertilization. We can spray for
these pesky critters two to four times per year depending on your
needs.
Yes, the use of a pre-emergent
herbicide will help to prevent weeds from growing. Pre-emergents
are primarily used to control annual grasses such as crabgrass,
goosegrass and annual bluegrass as well as some annual broadleaf
weeds like chickweed and henbit. Which pre-emergent to use
is dependant on the type of weed present. The experts at
Pearce Power Spraying can identify the vegetation that does not
belong and which application will eradicate them most effectively.
Pre-emergent herbicides are just
one of the many tools Pearce Power Spraying uses to keep your lawn
healthy and weed free.
Lawns need at least 1" of water
per week to remain green and healthy. Too little water
during dry periods can cause permanent turf loss which may require
seeding. Insect, weed and disease problems also increase in
dry lawns.
Mowing makes a BIG difference in
the looks of your lawn. Keeping blades sharp, changing
mowing direction, mowing often enough and at the right height will
all help keep the turf green, thick, and weed free.
In addition to our annual service
plan of proper fertilization and weed control, there are several
things that you can do to help ensure a healthy lawn:
- Make sure you are watering
your lawn properly. Too much or too little can be
damaging. Lawns need at least 1" of water per week to
remain green and healthy. The amount of water your lawn
needs will need to be increased during the dry season.
- Using the right tools to mow
your lawn is essential. A tan color lawn is caused by a
dull mower blade shredding the grass tips. Make sure you
sharpen your blades several times a year.
- The right height setting for
your mower is also critical. Mowing your lawn too short
can damage your lawn.
- Mowing your lawn more often is
something that is often overlooked. Your lawn can be
damaged by removing too much grass at once.
- Alternating your mowing
pattern can also make a difference in the health of your lawn.
