Pearce Power Spraying offers weed control services
to be applied to minimize weeds at appropriate times
of the year.
Broadleaf Weed Control: Treatment is done
in January, February, March, April, November & December
depending upon the temperature. It must be
below 80 degrees for weed chemicals not to damage
grass when applied. Results will be seen in 2
weeks.
We
also offer a pre-emergent weed & feed.
This lawn weed treatment will effectively control
broadleaf weeds for a longer period of time,
especially in a moisture related condition.
Sedge Control: Treatment is done in May,
June, July & September. Results are seen in 5 days.
Grassy Weed Control: This treatment is
done in the late spring, summer and early fall.
Insecticide and fertilizer can not be done at the
same time. Results take about 3 weeks.
Pre-emergent herbicides are very effecting in
controlling this weed for a larger period of time.
This weed family is very difficult to control if it
is neglected.
Crabgrass:
To win the war against crabgrass, combine
professional care with good follow-up practices.
Thousands of seeds produced by last year's crabgrass
plants were blown and carried virtually everywhere.
T he trick is to keep the seeds from germinating.
For that, action has to be taken early in the
season, before the weather gets too war. Once
the seeds have germinated, aggressive crabgrass
plants can take over. |
